The IJA Preschool Program provides a nurturing environment for children ages 3 to 5, where they begin their journey toward becoming God-loving, values-rooted, responsible and disciplined individuals through a balance of activities, including, among others, hands-on exploration, engaging stories, and collaborative play.It focuses deeply on foundational socio-emotional skills, helping children to learn sharing, cooperating, and expressing their feelings appropriately, as they grow as caring members of an inclusive community.
The Preschool Curriculum seamlessly integrates the essential literacy, numeracy and motor skills needed for formal schooling.

CORE COMPETENCIES
In early childhood it is essential to focus on the development of key core competencies that lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Here are the core competencies typically developed at this stage:Cognitive Skills
Problem-solving, memory, and basic reasoning. Learners begin to develop number sense, early math concepts, and logical thinking through hands-on activities, play, and structured learning.Language Skills
Listening, speaking, and beginning literacy. Learners develop vocabulary, sentence structure, and early reading skills. They learn how to express their thoughts clearly and understand simple instructions.Motor Skills
Fine motor skills involve the coordination of small muscles, like those used in writing or buttoning clothes, while gross motor skills involve larger movements like running and jumping.Social Skills
